HOW IT BEGAN

From our farm in Mazabuka to the city lights of Lusaka, our journey has been nothing short of daunting, stressful, and exhilarating.

Our leap into hospitality started with months of searching for a venue in Lusaka. We finally discovered a diamond in the rough which needed a lot of renovating but we decided to take a chance.
We kept things simple and authentic, crafting all the furniture on the farm and in November of 2019 we opened Prime Joint restaurant, Arcades Lusaka.
It was a tough start with many obstacles and challenges including Covid but we refused to give up on this restaurant.

Although our initial location presented challenges, we seized a new opportunity and relocated to East Park. More building and renovations caused the stress levels to rise and we dived once again into the unknown.
Prime Joint East Park exploded onto the scene, bustling with energy and a fantastic vibe from day one. Darrel, the master chef, worked his magic, not only cooking up a storm but also providing exceptional customer service, effortlessly resolving any issues that arise.

Prime Catch an additional Restaurant, was a fleeting yet valuable experience that taught us the importance of perseverance. Despite our excitement to bring our vision to life, the reality was that customer flow was slower than anticipated, and the challenges were steeper. It was a tough time but we took this as an opportunity to reassess and refocus.

With a newfound sense of determination, we set out to find a space to call our own. After months of searching, one plot on Great East Road kept catching our attention. After some deliberation, we made an offer, met with the bank and suddenly the crazy idea of owning our own place was a reality. “If your dreams don’t scare you they are not big enough”
We were now the proud owners of the very rundown Plot 9169, Kalundu so “lets do this”
From empty land to thriving destination, building Prime Venue has been a wild ride of highs and lows, sleepless night and triumphant moments – but most of all, an unforgettable adventure.
